The Gite
The cottage and main house have undergone a program of extensive renovation and improvement in 2004-2005. Facilities, decoration and equipment have all been modernised and installed to a high standard while many attractive local touches have been retained.
The cottage offers accommodation on two floors. The ground floor has direct access to the driveway and front garden and is of open-plan format, providing flexible facilities for a couple or larger family. It serves as a kitchen-diner, with newly purchased equipment for those who like to cater for themselves: electric kettle, coffee-maker, microwave, cooker, fridge-freezer, etc.
The lounge is ideal for both quiet evenings or lively parties and has a sofa, arm chairs and other furnishings. A TV offers French channels but has a DVD player attached.
A side door leads to a colourful enclosed garden and a high quality patio set is provided for al fresco eating.
Main Bedroom
A locally made hardwood stairway leads to the upper floor which consists of two generous double-bedrooms and a modern bathroom. There is plenty of storage and beds to sleep 4. The bathroom is completely new and includes a shower, wash basin and W.C.
