One of the great things about this area of France is its accessibility from the UK using any of a number of different means of transport. For a location map and to plan your route please use this link: ViaMichelin
From our house in mid Bedfordshire, Chabris is an 8-hour drive, door-to-door. That includes the Channel Tunnel crossing and regular stops along the way. You can stick to the motorways for a rapid journey, or wind your way through France by the scenic routes: we have done both many times.
Crossing the Channel with your car can be achieved in several ways, someof which are discounted via the Chez Nous Travel Service:

Brittany Ferries
Condor Ferries
Hoverspeed
Norfolk Line
P&O Ferries
Sea France
Transmanche
Channel Tunnel

The airport at Tours is less than an hour away from Chabris and a very convenient access point via cheap flight operator Ryanair. Free or heavily discounted fares are often offered. Fly out, hire a car, what could be easier? Other clients and friends have flown to Paris from their local airport and then come down by rail.

Reaching the region by rail is very easy thanks to Eurostar and the rapid TGV service to Tours. From there local trains run to Chabris. Waterloo to Tours is achieved in around 5 hours, changing at Paris Montparnasse.
